Terms of Service

By creating an account or using LinguaFlow ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

LinguaFlow is a language-learning platform that provides curated lessons, AI-generated exercises, pronunciation scoring, and spaced-repetition flashcards for English and Italian learners at CEFR levels A1 through B2.

The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice for material changes to paid features.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access the Service beyond fair personal use
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute lesson content or AI-generated output as a competing product
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to disrupt or degrade Service availability for other users

The free tier is provided at no cost. Paid tiers ("Pro" and "Team") are billed monthly or annually via our payment processor. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then.

All content, software, trademarks, and course materials are owned by LinguaFlow or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial language learning.

You retain ownership of content you submit (voice recordings, written practice, custom flashcards). You grant LinguaFlow a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service and improve its quality (for example, aggregate pronunciation analytics). We do not use your personal content to train third-party AI models.

The Service uses Azure Cognitive Services for speech synthesis and pronunciation assessment, Google Gemini for AI-generated content, and Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or fluency milestones.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinguaFlow's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings; upon deletion we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LinguaFlow is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
